Vehicle wrap design projects are some of our favorite creative work to take on, and we love seeing them out on the road long after the project is done! Having a professional and eye-catching vehicle wrap design for a business is one of the most effective ways to raise regional awareness and establish brand recognition in local markets. BlueBird Windows & Doors contacted us about this vehicle wraps for their fleet vehicles, and asked for something creative within their existing brand guidelines.
Vehicle wrap design elements
Existing brand elements like the logo, icons, and textures were used as the starting place for the vehicle wrap design concepts. The polygon texture quickly became the prominent feature of the design, and was used in a way that not only creates movement within the vehicle wrap, but also looks like mountains as the design crosses onto the rear of the vehicle. As a business that specializes in serving Boulder, Louisville, and the greater Colorado Front Range, making this design connection to the Rocky Mountains was a key intention of the design creative.
The bird icon was also introduced in a bold way that both extends the polygon texture, and crosses the straight design element. We also made a design choice to flip the bird icon so that it was always facing forward on the vehicle when driving, almost like a passenger riding on the van itself. The website and phone number also have clear placements up high within the vehicle wrap design where it can be easily seen and read from a distance. Secondary elements like the list of services were intentionally placed lower and smaller on the vehicle, as the logo and brand name already clearly communicate the core business services.
We also created additional wrap designs for other fleet vehicles that really look outstanding! In this design, we have inverted the logo and bird icon against the polygon texture from the brand playbook, and even perched the bird on the rear wheel well. Across the hood is the logo in large and bold fashion, as well as along the entire side of the truck.
